Research interests:

  • transport mechanisms of organic compounds through liquid membranes;
  • separation and preconcentration of organic compounds;
  • sample preparation of xenobiotics using supported liquid membranes (SLM) and solid phase extraction (SPE) prior to further analysis;
  • determination of xenobiotics in environment and food samples;
  • separation of enantiomers and determination of their optical purity;
  • investigation of biological activity of allelochemicals, phosphoorganic compounds and other xenobiotics;
  • isolation, analysis  and structure determination of  natural products;
  • biodegradation of xenobiotics.

Author or co-author of more than 180 scientific publications, 19 books and chapters in books, 8 patents and 16 students books and chapters in students books, more than 200 conference lectures and presentations. More than 2200 citations, H=29 (Scopus).
